The other side
A twenty-year-old domain is not something to move on a whim. Here is when leaving it alone is the right call.
If you are mid-lawsuit, mid-acquisition, or mid-audit, do not move a domain. A transfer touches registrant records and locks the domain from moving again for 60 days. Finish the other thing first.
If your office manager logs in fine and renews it every year without drama, the only argument for moving is price. That is a real argument, but it is not an emergency.
