Akron Ohio web design
from 30 minutes south in East Canton

I build websites for Akron service businesses: contractors, HVAC companies, law offices, medical practices, and the shops along Market Street. The office is in East Canton, close enough that a kickoff meeting can be in person. Every site gets a page per service, a phone number that dials on tap, and hosting from the same person who built it.

What an Akron site from us includes

Most of the Akron sites we replace were built by someone who has since moved on. They look fine and do nothing: no service pages, a contact form that goes nowhere, a phone number buried on a contact page. These four things are the fix.

A page for each service you sell

A furnace repair page, a furnace install page, and a maintenance page rank for three different searches. One "Services" page ranks for none of them. We split the work the way customers search for it.

A phone number that dials on tap

Most Akron visitors are on a phone. The number sits in the header on every page, dials on one tap, and the contact form sends to an inbox you actually check.

Service-area pages that say where you go

If you work Summit County but not Cleveland, the site says so, with the towns named. It keeps the wrong calls out and helps the right ones find you.

Hosting from the same person who built it

The site lives on our hosting with SSL, daily backups, and a login you own. When something breaks, you call the person who built it instead of a ticket queue.

An Akron site we built

Foster's Heating & Air is an Akron HVAC company. The site got a page per service, a service-area section naming Akron, Canton, and the towns between, and a phone number that dials from the header on every page. The case study walks through the decisions.

More of the work

Law firms, photographers, and a managed IT company, each built around the questions their customers ask before calling.

How a project runs

Step 1

A 20-minute call

What you sell, who calls you, and what the current site gets wrong. If you have a site, we look at it together. If not, we start from the services list.

Step 2

A quote in one business day

Pages listed, price fixed, timeline stated. Nothing is billed until you have read it.

Step 3

Build on a preview link

You watch the site come together on a private link and send changes as you see them. Photos, copy, and the phone number go in as they arrive.

Step 4

Launch and hand over

The domain points at the new site, old URLs redirect, search tools get the new sitemap, and you get the logins. Then hosting takes over.

Akron and the towns around it

Akron is a 30-minute drive from the office, and the Summit County towns around it are about the same. We build for businesses in Barberton, Cuyahoga Falls, Stow, Green, and Hudson on the same terms, and we host for each of them too.

Closer to home, the Canton web design page covers Stark County. For a business anywhere else in the state, the web design service page explains how the work runs remotely.

Questions Akron businesses ask

Do you actually come to Akron, or is everything remote?
Both. The office is in East Canton, about 30 minutes south of Akron. Most of a website project happens over email and a shared screen, but the kickoff and the launch walkthrough can be in person if you would rather sit across a table. Barberton, Green, Stow, and Cuyahoga Falls are the same drive.
What does a small business website in Akron cost?
A one- or two-page site built for speed is $500 through the fast-website option, with managed hosting at $97 a month on top. A full site with a page per service, a gallery, or integrations is quoted after we look at what you have. The written quote arrives within one business day of the first conversation and lists what is included.
How long does it take?
When the photos, service list, and phone number are ready, a small site goes live in one to two weeks. A site that needs new copy for six or eight services, or approval from more than one person, takes longer, and the quote says how much. You see the working site on a preview link before launch, not a mockup.
Can you keep my current domain and rankings?
Yes. If the current site has pages that already show up in search, we keep those URLs or map redirects to the new ones before anything changes. The domain stays yours, and it stays in your registrar account, not ours.
What happens after launch?
WordPress hosting is $15 a month; the managed plan that pairs with the $500 build is $97 a month and includes the CRM. Both come with SSL, daily backups, and someone who answers the phone. Content changes are either a small maintenance plan or a one-off quote, whichever fits how often the site changes. There is no long-term contract on either.
Do you build WordPress sites or something else?
It depends on what the site has to do. A service business that needs a dozen pages and a contact form usually gets a fast static site, which has nothing to update and nothing to hack. A site that publishes often, sells products, or needs plugins gets WordPress on our hosting. We recommend one after the first call.
