How to Set Up Email Forwarding in cPanel
Automatically forward emails from one address to another so you never miss a message.
Email forwarding lets you send copies of incoming mail to another address — useful for routing info@ or sales@ to your main inbox.
Step 1: Open Forwarders
Log in to cPanel and click Forwarders in the Email section.
Step 2: Add a Forwarder
Click Add Forwarder.
Step 3: Configure
- Address to Forward — enter the address you want to forward from (e.g., info)
- Domain — select your domain
- Destination — enter the email address to forward to
Click Add Forwarder to save.
Forwarding to a Different Domain
You can forward to any address, including Gmail, Outlook, or another domain entirely.
Domain-Level Forwarders
To forward all mail for a domain to another domain, use Add Domain Forwarder on the same page.
Tips
- Forwarding does not delete the original — it sends a copy
- To avoid spam loops, don't forward to an address that forwards back
- You can set up multiple forwarders for the same address
