Moving your site off Shopify.
Shopify can export products, customers, orders, gift cards, and a theme copy, but those files do not become a working WooCommerce store on their own.
What Shopify lets you take
An online store migration is a controlled rebuild. Product data can move, while checkout, payments, tax, shipping, apps, customer accounts, subscriptions, and order timing require individual plans.
- Products, variants, customers, and order history through CSV or migration tools

We can rebuild an informational site as a custom static site.
A Shopify site whose job is explaining your services doesn't have to become WordPress. A static site on Cloudflare Workers has no database or plugins to update, and forms and analytics still work.
If your staff publish often or you need store or membership plugins, WordPress is the better fit. We recommend one after looking at the site.
Gather these first
- Shopify owner access and collaborator code
- Product, customer, order, and gift-card CSV exports
- A downloaded copy of the current theme
- Product images, policy pages, navigation, redirects, and domain settings
- A written list of apps, payment methods, shipping rules, taxes, subscriptions, discounts, and fulfillment connections
Export from Shopify
Step 1
Export all products with all variants. Keep the CSV unchanged and download original product media where possible.
Step 2
Export customers and orders for business records. Customer passwords cannot be moved to a different platform.
Step 3
Download the current theme from Online Store, Themes as a reference and backup.
Step 4
List every installed app and describe what it does. Note subscriptions, reviews, loyalty points, gift cards, bundles, filters, feeds, and fulfillment tools.
Step 5
Record payment providers, payout timing, tax settings, shipping zones and rates, inventory locations, notification templates, and legal policies.
Step 6
Plan a short order freeze or final data sync before launch so recent orders and inventory changes are not missed.
Watch for
- Our entry hosting plan is the base server plan; complex store requirements are reviewed before we promise a launch scope.
- Never cancel Shopify while orders are still arriving or before payment and fulfillment tests pass.
- Customer passwords and some app-owned data cannot be transferred. Customers may need to set a new password.
Questions
Does hosting include migration?
Yes. There is no migration fee. We review the current site first so you know the plan. New features beyond recreating the existing site are scoped separately before we do them.
Will my website go offline?
No. The old site stays up while the new one is built, and we don't cancel the old service until the new one passes review.
Do I have to transfer my domain?
No. The domain can stay with its current registrar and point to us.
What happens to my business email?
We copy every mail-related DNS record before launch. We don't move or cancel email unless that is part of the plan.
Ready to leave Shopify?
Send the site address. Moving is free with hosting, and the old site stays up until the new one passes review.
