Moving your site off Weebly.
Weebly can email you a ZIP archive of a site. That archive cannot be imported back into Weebly, but it can help recover static pages and assets while we rebuild the editable site.
What Weebly lets you take
The archive is useful evidence and a source for files. Store, membership, forms, search, and other hosted functions still need a replacement.

We can rebuild an informational site as a custom static site.
A Weebly site whose job is explaining your services doesn't have to become WordPress. A static site on Cloudflare Workers has no database or plugins to update, and forms and analytics still work.
If your staff publish often or you need store or membership plugins, WordPress is the better fit. We recommend one after looking at the site.
Gather these first
- Weebly or Square owner access
- The emailed site archive ZIP
- Square catalog, customer, and order exports if the site sells online
- Original photos and documents not found in the archive
- Domain, DNS, email, form, and analytics details
Export from Weebly
Step 1
Open the Weebly editor for the correct site, then go to Settings and find the Archive option.
Step 2
Enter an email address, create the archive, and download the ZIP from the email when it arrives.
Step 3
Also use Account Settings, My Data, Download My Data when you need the broader account data package.
Step 4
Export the Square item library, customers, and order records separately if the site uses Square Online commerce.
Step 5
List every public URL and take screenshots of forms, store behavior, members-only areas, mobile navigation, and app-powered sections.
Step 6
Keep the old site published until the rebuilt site, redirects, forms, and DNS have been tested.
Watch for
- The ZIP is not a one-click WordPress import.
- Confirm which company bills the domain and which company handles email.
- Square Online catalog data and the Weebly site archive are separate exports.
Questions
Does hosting include migration?
Yes. There is no migration fee. We review the current site first so you know the plan. New features beyond recreating the existing site are scoped separately before we do them.
Will my website go offline?
No. The old site stays up while the new one is built, and we don't cancel the old service until the new one passes review.
Do I have to transfer my domain?
No. The domain can stay with its current registrar and point to us.
What happens to my business email?
We copy every mail-related DNS record before launch. We don't move or cancel email unless that is part of the plan.
