Moving your site off Webflow.
Eligible paid Workspace plans can export HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and assets. CMS content can be exported separately, but hosted functions do not keep working off Webflow.
What Webflow lets you take
Webflow code export is a useful starting point for static pages. Forms, search, CMS behavior, user accounts, ecommerce, localization, password protection, and code components require replacement or a rebuild.

We can rebuild an informational site as a custom static site.
A Webflow site whose job is explaining your services doesn't have to become WordPress. A static site on Cloudflare Workers has no database or plugins to update, and forms and analytics still work.
If your staff publish often or you need store or membership plugins, WordPress is the better fit. We recommend one after looking at the site.
Gather these first
- Webflow Workspace and site access
- The code export ZIP if the Workspace plan supports it
- A CSV export for every CMS and ecommerce Collection
- Form submission exports and a list of notification recipients
- Custom code, integrations, redirects, localization, and domain settings
Export from Webflow
Step 1
In the Webflow Designer, open the main menu and choose Code export, or press Shift + E.
Step 2
Choose Prepare ZIP and download the resulting file. Code export requires an eligible paid Workspace plan, not only a Site plan.
Step 3
Open each CMS Collection and export its items as CSV. Export ecommerce Collections and user account data separately if applicable.
Step 4
Export form submissions, then record form notification addresses, success messages, redirects, spam controls, and file-upload behavior.
Step 5
Copy custom code from site settings and page settings. Record third-party scripts, analytics IDs, cookies, and consent tools.
Step 6
Export the redirect list and inventory every localized or password-protected page before changing DNS.
Watch for
- A Webflow Site plan alone does not include code export.
- Exported forms and site search do not function without replacement services.
- Collection pages in the code export do not include live CMS-bound content.
Questions
Does hosting include migration?
Yes. There is no migration fee. We review the current site first so you know the plan. New features beyond recreating the existing site are scoped separately before we do them.
Will my website go offline?
No. The old site stays up while the new one is built, and we don't cancel the old service until the new one passes review.
Do I have to transfer my domain?
No. The domain can stay with its current registrar and point to us.
What happens to my business email?
We copy every mail-related DNS record before launch. We don't move or cancel email unless that is part of the plan.
Ready to leave Webflow?
Send the site address. Moving is free with hosting, and the old site stays up until the new one passes review.
