Moving your site off Wix.
Wix sites cannot be downloaded and installed on another web host. We use the live site, your original files, and your requirements to rebuild it in WordPress.
What Wix lets you take
Wix says its SaaS architecture must run on Wix servers. Your words and media belong to you, but the Wix layout and platform features do not transfer as a working website.

We can rebuild an informational site as a custom static site.
A Wix site whose job is explaining your services doesn't have to become WordPress. A static site on Cloudflare Workers has no database or plugins to update, and forms and analytics still work.
If your staff publish often or you need store or membership plugins, WordPress is the better fit. We recommend one after looking at the site.
Gather these first
- The email address used for the Wix owner account
- A list of every domain connected to the site
- Original logo, photos, videos, PDFs, and brand fonts if you have them
- A list of forms, automations, bookings, memberships, store features, and third-party apps
- Recent form notifications or lead emails so we can trace where inquiries go
Export from Wix
Step 1
Open the published site and list every page in the main menu, footer, and any members-only area.
Step 2
In the Wix dashboard, open Media Manager and download the original files you want to keep. Put logos, photos, documents, and videos into clearly named folders.
Step 3
Export contacts, form submissions, products, orders, blog posts, or bookings from the related Wix dashboard areas when those features are in use.
Step 4
Open Domains in Wix and note whether Wix is the registrar or whether the domain only points to Wix. Do not transfer or disconnect it yet.
Step 5
Take screenshots of desktop and mobile pages, popups, forms, confirmation messages, and any behavior that is not visible to the public.
Step 6
Invite 330 Hosting as a collaborator after we confirm the correct role. Never send a password through the intake form.
Watch for
- Do not cancel Wix before the new site passes review.
- Changing Wix nameservers can also remove email records. We copy DNS records before cutover.
- A domain transfer and a website move are separate jobs. The domain can stay registered at Wix if that is safer.
Questions
Does hosting include migration?
Yes. There is no migration fee. We review the current site first so you know the plan. New features beyond recreating the existing site are scoped separately before we do them.
Will my website go offline?
No. The old site stays up while the new one is built, and we don't cancel the old service until the new one passes review.
Do I have to transfer my domain?
No. The domain can stay with its current registrar and point to us.
What happens to my business email?
We copy every mail-related DNS record before launch. We don't move or cancel email unless that is part of the plan.
